Affertons Funeral Care, the popular Dundee firm, has won two Scottish Enterprise Awards for excellence.

Affertons has been named Best Funeral Services Business 2022 for Dundee, and has also received a Family Care Excellence Award 2022.

The awards, organised by SME News, recognise companies who make an important contribution to the Scottish business landscape.

Affertons, whose ‘Say Goodbye, Your Way’ marketing campaign can be seen on billboards and buses across Dundee, is spreading the message that funerals do not have to be prescriptive, or sombre.

Its striking new city-wide campaign captures the public’s rapidly changing attitudes towards death and dying with a set of four quirky characters, including a tartan-suited man and a tattooed young woman.
